

Dawn
has been coordinating weddings since 1996. She had always been
touted as "THE" wedding coordinator and event planner, but she had always done it
with her heart and soul; combining her love for planning and coordinating
events with a business seemed to be against the foundation of
her passion. She realized the need for her services and the value
of having a business to help share her knowledge and services,
and she founded Your Very Own Fairy Godmother Wedding & Event Coordination in 2002.
She soon found with a rapidly growing
list of clients, that in order to provide the level of service
on which she had always prided herself, she needed assistance
from others that shared the same vision for clients and enthusiasm
for the industry. Within 18 months, her team became the fastest
growing event planning and consulting firm in the Central Texas
area, and she has trained each team member herself. In 2007,
three of the Fairy Godmothers found life circumstances relocating
them to the Houston area. None of them were ready to give up their
wands, and the Houston branch of Your Very Own Fairy Godmother Weddings
& Events was born. The name "Your
Very Own Fairy Godmother" represents an elevation of
excellence, and it is incredibly important, not only to Dawn,
but to each team member that every masterfully planned event perpetuates
that reputation. In addition to their personalized service, Your
Very Own Fairy Godmother ensures that your uniqueness will
be expressed stylishly in every aspect of the event. At the heart
of Your Very Own Fairy Godmother, you will find that it
is the eye for detail, extreme organization, sincere love of planning,
and the deep desire to make every event a fairytale come true
for the client.
