From the age of 6, Dawn insisted
that she decorate her own birthday cakes. She began making
her younger sister's birthday cakes (from Garfield and
Grover to the Little Mermaid and Aladdin) as well as the
cakes for all of the children that she babysat. Dawn made
clothes by trial and error without any sewing classes
by the time she was 10. She filled her free time with
drawing and designing prom and wedding dresses, and she
also worked in a flower shop during peak seasons while
in high school. She worked full-time while attending Southwest
Texas State University and majored in Psychology. Friends
from school and church would frequently call her and ask
for her to assist with their weddings, bachelorette parties,
and showers. She began coordinating weddings in 1996 while
still in college. Initially, out of school, she worked
with deaf children and their families, and she also coordinated
all of the Halloween and Christmas parties for the citywide
program. She is known amongst her friends, family, and
all of her previous co-workers as "Emily Post"
and "Martha Stewart." (No jail time though.)
She's often been asked if there's anything that she can't
do. Dawn founded Your Very Own Fairy Godmother, and initially,
she accepted only one intern. Since then, the firm has
grown, and there are multiple coordinators and interns
alike at what is now the largest firm in the Austin area.
Dawn is also the founder
and President of the International Wedding Consultants'
Certification Board, the only truly hands-on program.
It is important to her that she continues to educate other
future wedding consultants.
Dawn
married her own Prince Charming, Ross Earley, in April
of 2004. Even then, she chose to have one of her fellow
coordinators (Wendy Prindle) in addition to the coordinator
that was provided by the wedding site. There is nothing
that can ease the mind of a very detail-oriented wedding
professional more than knowing that she has another detail-oriented
wedding professional that she trusts attending to every
element of her lovingly-planned day.
Dawn
has done the floral arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres,
catering and cakes for weddings and showers, but her true
passion is the planning and coordination of the big event.
She wants to make sure that every detail is perfect for
YOUR Cinderella story. Your Very Own Fairy Godmother Wedding
& Event Coordination is proud of their reputation
as people who sincerely want the bride, groom, their families,
and wedding parties to feel as if the world has stopped
to service them throughout the planning process and especially
on the big day.

Martha started coordinating group trips and events when she moved to Austin in 1999 and 3 years later married her soul mate on one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico.
She coordinated her own destination wedding and realized how much she enjoyed all the details of crafting such a unique an unforgettable event. Creating those extraordinary experiences for others' weddings and events are her gift and passion. She also designs and creates cakes to add a personal flair to any occasion.
She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys experiencing other cultures. Some of her best experiences were in Vancouver, Canada; Amsterdam, Netherlands; and St. Petersburg, Russia where she relished in the different traditions, people and travel experiences.
Her desire for those getting married is to savor the engagement, celebrate one of life's greatest events — and let some one else worry about details. She believes the wedding should be all about the bride and groom.
You deserve the wedding of your dreams, and Martha will help you accomplish it!

Growing up in a small community, I always thought I would graduate, get married, and live happily ever after. While waiting for my Prince Charming, I have fallen in love with making other couples' wedding dreams come true.
I was born in Beaumont, Texas and grew up there with a wonderful family. I am currently attending Texas State University in San Marcos majoring in Communications with hopes of graduating in May 2008. I have previously assisted in weddings in my hometown, as well as helped plan special occasions for friends and family.
I look forward in being a part of making your special day as memorable as can be.

Amy has loved being involved with extravagant events from planning birthdays and organizing proms, to helping coordinate cheerleading events and sorority functions. In October 2006, as part of the UT Fashion Group, she was able to work backstage at a St. Thomas Fashion Show featuring Zac Posen. This event mixed with her dream of designing wedding gowns, first sparked her interest in event and wedding planning. Her outgoing personality combined with her creativity and dedication has helped lead her to become part of the team!

Ashley was born in Austin
and has lived in the surrounding area all of her life.
Her exposure to the wedding and event planning industry
began while still in high school as she watched her sister
plan a multitude of both weddings and events.
Ashley has a huge heart and an innate ability to read people. This
attribute has been a wonderful asset in helping brides,
wedding parties, families and guests feel at home and
be
stress-free.

Brianne just moved to the
Austin area from Phoenix, AZ. She graduated from Arizona
State University in May 2005, where she received her Bachelor's
Degree in Marketing. During her junior and senior college
years, she coached high school cheerleading at her old
high school, with her old coach! She also enjoys going
to sporting events (particularly baseball and football),
and has a passion for shopping.
Because she loves to be
around people, she decided that the best direction for
her to go following college was into event planning. She
has loved parties since she was a little girl, and has
since planned small events like bridal showers for her
friends.
Brianne looks forward to making your special
day better than you ever could have imagined!

Ellen was born in Houston and lived in Kingwood, TX all through high school where she devoted all of her time to Student Council, which she absolutely loved. Ellen had always been very organized and enjoyed planning so she was excited when she found an outlet for those passions. Although originally starting college at the University in Oklahoma in the fall of 2007 she had a stroke of luck when Holly Appel contacted her about an internship position in Houston just after she had decided she would not be coming back to OU for the spring semester.
Currently Ellen is continuing her college education at the University of Texas at Austin and enjoying learning about the wedding planning business in Austin after a great half year in Houston.

Kyle Dyer, a Kansas City native, is the middle daughter of five. It was not until her own wedding to her best friend from elementary school that she began to fully understand the phrase, "Oh my gosh! Five Girls! Five Weddings!"
Kyle recently has had plenty of hands-on experience; her own wedding, which took place at the Ford Plantation in Savannah, Georgia, was the third wedding for the family in 2 years.
A recent graduate from the University of Missouri, Kyle has always loved planning events in school, from coordinating prom to helping with sorority events. She has a knack for fun details and loves to be involved in any project. Her organizational skills and her unique ability to see creative details make her overjoyed to be one of the newest members of the Fairy Godmother team!

From a very young age, Maranda has been imagining and creating events: everything from tea party's and themed birthday parties, to prom committees and family reunions.
Growing up, she was always referred to as "little miss hostess", because she is always there to make sure everyone is having a great time. The most important thing to Maranda is that every guest leaves an event with a smile on their face and great memories that will last a lifetime. She dreams big and works even harder to see those dreams come to fruition. Her motto in life is, "It's all in the details." She hopes she can put her attention to detail to work on your big day!

Tynisha D. Wooley was born and reared in the small west Texas town of Plainview. As an only child, she passed her time dreaming up marvelous weddings and tea parties for her dolls. Eventually she started making her dreams reality when she planned slumber parties for her friends and then holiday parties for her family.
In 2002, she moved to Austin to study psychology and sociology at The University of Texas. Although her studies were concentrated in the social sciences, she never lost her love for weddings and event planning. Early in her college career, she was co-chair of a spring formal for Phi Epsilon Alpha Sorority and later used that experience to become a part of UT's Event Co-Sponsorship Committee. As a member of ECC, she assisted many organizations during the planning process, from finances to logistics, to ensure the success of their event.
After graduation from UT in 2006, Tynisha decided to make her childhood dreams a reality. Now as a member of Your Very Own Fairy Godmother, Tynisha hopes to incorporate her love for people and passion for planning into helping you create your very own happily ever after!
